I have been hand building in porcelain since 1979.
I see porcelain as a skin and it's edges as line moving through space.
The idea of a vessel runs through all of my pieces: a contained space given shape through an interplay of edge, line and surface.

Margo graduated with a BFA from the University of Manitoba in 1979. Her work has been included in various exhibitions and collections throughout Edmonton, Banff, Calgary, Red Deer and Saskatoon. Since moving to the coast she has participated in the Salt Spring Potter’s Guild Shows from 2013 to present , the juried Sooke Fine Arts Show 2016, 2017 and again in 2018 at which she was presented with an Award of Excellence; the Parallel Art Show Salt Spring Island 2017.
Margo is also a finalist in SSICA 2016 and 2018 (Salt Spring Island Ceramic Awards). Her work can be found at Artcraft and Wintercraft in historic Mahon Hall. She lives and works on Salt Spring Island.
